Greetings from "Western Pilot Car Operators"

Originally formed as the "Pilot Car Operator's Conference"
and founded in 1982, we are a group of regular UHCA members who
saw a need and got together to form an organization of pilot
cars.  We believe in UHCA's established philosophy:  "In Unity
There is Strength and Knowledge."

Today we are an organization of independent pilot services
dedicated to providing professional, legal and well informed
escort drivers.  We have a "Legislative Liaison Officer" who
regularly attends Caltrans meetings, and with UHCA we are kept
abreast of legislative efforts which would affect the pilot car
industry.  We have a "Voice" in Sacramento who lets our concerns
be heard.

It is vitally important to meet together in a common interest and
share information.  We also tend to give each other our "overflow"
business, and a complete membership list is provided for all members.

Your dues entitle you to participate in all UHCA and WPCO activities
and to enjoy the many benefits of membership.

WPCO does not dictate rates, territories or in any way interfere
with your private business matters.  We are an information service
and a gathering point for sharing experiences.  UHCA truckers are
furnished with our membership list and encouraged to use our members.
